Meet Your Doctor
Francisco Alonso MD, MSHSDr. Alonso is a board certified doctor based in New York City, and has 14 years of experience in general pediatrics as well as extensive experience in pediatric emergency medicine. Born in Buenos Aries, Argentina to an Italian and Spanish Family, he lived throughout Europe as a child. His family settled in Miami, Florida and he later attended medical school at the Central Eastern University in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Alonso completed his pediatric residency training at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City. He later received a Master’s Degree with high honors in Health Sciences-Public Health from Touro University International.
Dr. Alonso opened NYC Pediatrics with the philosophy of offering good old fashioned personal attention to his patients, along with the most up to date medical care. He truly believes in his companies' motto that " It's like having a doctor in the family ". Dr. Alonso speaks Spanish fluently as well as conversational Italian. He also participates in teaching both Physician assistant and Nurse practitioner students. |
